1. What are your main ways of communicating with your friends online?
2. What would be different about your relationships if you couldn’t communicate online anymore?
3. Renee says that, looking back, she can understand why her mom freaked out about the stranger who was chatting with her. When you were younger, did your parents ever freak out about something that happened online about which you later agreed with them?
4. If you were a parent, what would you do to try to keep your kids safe online?
5. Aseal talks about connecting with people he doesn’t know when he’s playing games online and on Xbox. Do you ever connect with people whom you don’t know online? If yes, what can you do to make sure you stay safe in those conversations?
6. Aseal suggests that if you’re playing an online game, you should try not to use your real name and make sure not to give out your home address or phone number. Do you think this is good advice? What other types of private information should you make sure not to share?
