Now that you've watched the Microsoft Word tutorial video, you should be comfortable with opening and working with the different templates that are available. If so, you are ready to start working on your assignment for this module.
As mentioned in the video, you need to pretend that you are starting a brand new business – either a zoo, a shopping mall or an amusement park. If you would like to choose something other than one of these, please let me know and I may decide to let you do it.
Once you decide which type of business you are going to start, you will need to come up with a name for the business and then, possibly, a slogan. Then, you will have to decide what your business is going to be like. What are some things that will make people really want to go there? In what ways will your business stand out from its competitors? What will be the address? What will be the hours of operation? You will need to ask yourself these and many more important questions in order to really figure out the details of your business.

Once you have worked out the details of your business, you need to create the following three things in Microsoft Word, using the appropriate templates:
- A brochure
This will be a 6-panel brochure that tries to attract new customers to your business. It will have an appealing front cover and 5 other panels that provide pictures and information about your business. - A flyer
This will be a 1-page flyer that, once again, is trying to let people know about your business and make them want to go there. It will have an eye-catching picture and some text about your business. - A restaurant menu
There is a restaurant located in your business. You get to decide its name and the types of food that it serves. Then, you must create a restaurant menu that lists and describes the meals. Of course, you will include pictures and prices as well.
