Get a Micro:bit and a USB cord from the Technology Cabinet. Then click the button below to access the Micro:bit Site. However, be sure to come back here after you click the button so you'll actually know what you need to do.

Micro:bit Site

Whenever you click on a project, you will see some different options. You should always click on the 'Blocks - Start Tutorial' button. See the picture on the right.

After you complete your first project, ask Mr. Locke to show you how to copy your code onto your Micro:bit.

Okay, now here's what you have to do.

Under 'Tutorials' (on the Micro:bit Site), you need to complete the following projects (in order):
  1. Flashing Heart
  2. Name Tag
  3. Smiley Buttons
  4. Dice [as an extra challenge for this one, are you able to modify your code so that it displays dots instead of actual numbers, like the dice on the right?]

Then, under 'Games', you need to complete the following:
  1. Coin Flipper
  2. Rock Paper Scissors (the original one, not V2)

Then, you can complete any other project(s) you wish (including one that you come up with yourself).
