Click the button above and then wait for Mr. Locke to show you how he wants you to set up your Tinkercad account. Once your account has been set up correctly, you may proceed to the instructions below.
Instructions
On the Tinkercad site, go to "Resources" and then click on "Learning Center". From there, click the first "View All" button that you see (in the "Learn 3D Design" section).

Complete the following 6 quick tutorials (in order):- Place It
- View It
- Move It
- Rotate It
- Size It
- Creating Holes
- STEP 2
In the same section as above, complete any 5 projects located between "Simple Heart Ring" and "Luggage Tag" (your choices include those two). - STEP 3
You've already created a doghouse in Sketchup. Now try to make one in Tinkercad, using the tools and techniques that you learned in steps 1 and 2. Which program was easier to use for this -- Sketchup or Tinkercad? Which doghouse turned out the best? - STEP 4
You can spend your remaining time at this station creating whatever you wish in Tinkercad. You can come up with your own ideas, but you are also allowed to look up instructional videos on YouTube. - Don't use models that other people have already made; I want you to make everything on your own.
- You can't make weapons or anything else that would be inappropriate for school. However, other than that, it's totally up to you. Can you design a real thing that would serve a real purpose?
- You may also choose to explore the Sim Lab feature.
