STAGE 4
Musical Sorting Hat

You've seen the Harry Potter movies, right? If not, ask someone what a sorting hat is. I'll wait here.

Okay, ready?

For this stage, you need to make a sorting hat that plays a tune whenever it selects the wearer's house.

Hooking your Micro:bit up to a pair of headphones or earbuds will work well for this.

When you get it all working right, make a little hat out of cardstock and then insert the Micro:bit into it (similar to when you made your Micro:pet back in Stage 2).

When you are finished, someone should be able to wear your sorting hat and the pair of headphones/earbuds that go with it.

As with the previous two stages, please record a quick video of your sorting hat before you move on to Stage 5.
