This will bring up a 'Searching for robots' screen and the iPad should be able to find Dot. Go ahead and click on Dot and then you should see a green check mark.
Now, instead of seeing the orange plus sign in the top right corner, you should see Dot. This means that Dot has been successfully connected and is ready to be programmed.

For your FIRST task (Stage 1), you need to create a sequence of events for Dot (the smaller robot) to follow. Keep in mind that Dot cannot actually move.
We are not yet ready to use the Bulldozer, Xylophone or Launcher accessories, but you can feel free to use any of the other attachments that we have in the purple basket.

After you have completed this Dot sequence and have tested it to make sure that it works, you need to record a quick video on your video camera. At the beginning of the video, one of the group members will state what the robot is supposed to do and then you will record the robot doing just that. If it does not work properly, then you will need to push the stop button on the camera, delete the video, figure out what went wrong and then try again. Once you have successfully documented Dot's sequence of events, you can move on to the next stage.
